Interestingly, air frying actually produces less acrylamide compared to traditional deep-frying methods. There is no evidence linking acrylamide from dietary sources to cancer in humans. High doses of acrylamide can be found in other sources, such as cigarette smoke or certain industrial chemicals.

It's important to note that while cooking foods like french fries in an air fryer does produce some acrylamide, moderation is key. Controlling portion sizes and avoiding overly browned or burnt foods minimizes any potential health risks.

Benefits of Using an Air Fryer 

Air fryers offer numerous benefits not often highlighted in reports. They use less oil or fat compared to traditional frying, allowing for healthier cooking. They also cook food in smaller batches and are convenient to use and clean.
